Significance of Lumbini Festival

Lumbini Festival celebrates Buddhism in a grand manner and displays the Buddhist cultural traditions of Andhra Pradesh. Various paintings related to Buddhism are displayed in the festival. The Festival has been named after Lumbini, the birth-place of Lord Buddha. Gautama Buddha taught lessons of purity and piousness throughout his life.
